"It was so rainy here! The finals went ahead in horrible conditions, with the rain pouring down and the lightning probably only helping the situation as it was very dark outside. There has been some really impressive volleyball played here and the pace of the women’s game is getting turned up. It’s great watching the speed and power of the top teams and the conviction they put into winning their games"

5 February 2008 Tamsin and Heike win bronze on Surfers sand
"Team LM kicked off the first event of the Australian National Tour on Surfers sand with a bronze medal and a special guest appearance by up and coming Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) athlete Heike Jensen. Heike, who is a targeted athlete to represent Australia in the 2012 London Olympics, stepped in at late notice to fill the shoes of Nat, who is just weeks off being fit for competition following knee surgery in 2007"

"Last week the Australian Volleyball Federation (AVF) named Nat as Australia's "Most Outstanding Female Beach Volleyball Player for 2006". Team LM head coach Carlos "Alemao" Galletti was also honoured with the "Coach of the Year" award"

"Stavanger is one of the prettiest locations to play in. It is right on the harbour, with the big cruise ships pulling in daily to dock alongside centre court, forming part of the grandstands. Even the QEII made an appearance this year. We were seeded seventh for the event and were rewarded with what we felt confident was a good pool"

"After a 20 hour flight from Seoul to Poland , there was not much time to recover. With only a few short days to rest up and train before the competition started, Nat's lingering sickness also added to the recovery process. However exhaustion and jetlag still couldn't wipe the smile off our faces after our gold medal win in Korea"
